Trump Approval Drops in North Carolina
June 22, 2018
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Compared to May, President Donald Trump’s approval rating in North Carolina dropped by seven points in June. May was the first month Trump topped 50 percent approval in North Carolina in the Civitas Poll.
With an approval rating of 44 percent, North Carolina proves again to be a good barometer for the nation as a new Morning Consult / Politico poll has Trump’s national approval rating at 44 percent too.
Given a strong economy, Democrats are relying on an unpopular president to help them regain control of Congress.
