On the Size and Scope of Government – February Poll
February 22, 2018
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Respondents from the February Civitas poll in North Carolina support smaller government by a margin of 63 percent. In comparison, 26 percent of North Carolinians support a larger government with more services and higher taxes.
Polling for smaller government in North Carolina receives even more support here than it receives nationally, although the difference is not substantial. Historically, the national opinion for smaller government tends to poll very well against calls for a larger government with more services.
You can find the crosstabs for this poll here.
