Join Civitas president Col. Francis De Luca, along with Representative Chris Millis as they discuss where North Carolinians stand on the issues that matter most.

Civitas polling examines voter opinion on the most significant and current issues such as government spending, state debt, health care, energy, social policy, election reform, and much more. Additionally, Civitas polling measures approval ratings for national and state leaders, gauging voter sentiment on elected officials. As the only regular live-caller polls in North Carolina since 2005, Civitas polls have become a trusted source of information across the state.

Representative Chris Millis

Representative Chris Millis is a professional civil engineer who graduated as valedictorian from North Carolina State University after graduating from Topsail High School in the Pender County public school system. One of the youngest members of the General Assembly at age 31, Representative Millis serves Pender County and parts of Onslow County and succeeded longtime Representative Carolyn Justice. He is currently serving his second term in the North Carolina General Assembly.

Within North Carolina and surrounding states, Representative Millis has extensive experience as an engineer in field designing and permitting development projects for Paramounte Engineering Inc. of Wilmington, providing him first-hand insight of unnecessary business regulations. His strong conservative principles and effectiveness representing his constituents in the General Assembly led to a decisive re-election victory, garnering Representative Millis nearly 70% of the vote in 2014.
