Wait a second. This isn’t breaking news at all. This is what the Civitas Institute did a month ago. And boy, did people howl.
Liberal outrage centered on the belief that Civitas was “targeting the protesters” by creating its database, some even likening it to 1950’s blacklists. The fact that the claim was completely false did not deter mainstream news organizations (including WRAL) from repeating it.
Will the same manufactured outrage be directed at WRAL?
