Yesterday I posted on Public Policy Polling (PPP) polling on the Wake school race and wondered why and who was paying. Today I think I have the answer why, but not sure on the who.
It looks like the group running ads attacking pro neighborhood shools candidates appears to be closely linked to the owner of PPP, Dean Debnam. The treasure of the Pac Jacque Essingler is the comptroller at Ultimate Products a firm owned by Debnam. Interestingly Essingler lives in Vance County not Wake County.
So I guess the mystery of the polling on the school board race may be solved. Debnam polled, saw his candidates were losing and pulled the trigger on his PAC ads. Now back to the question of who paid for the polling?
