At 11:15, the page lets me start sign up. At 11:23, I get an error message: I can’t access the site on this server.

I’ll try again later.

Maybe the NSA has spread the word that this sign-up is coming from the notorious Civitas Institute.

Liberals are spinning that ObamaCare is a big success. Next thing they’ll spin Detroit as the epitome of prudent fiscal management.

1:46 p.m. update: I go to the “manage your account” button and get: “Due to the lapse in government funding, census.gov sites, services, and all online survey collection requests will be unavailable until further notice.”

1:58 p.m. update:

By the way, I didn’t think even the federal government could be so incompetent as to list this, copied from the ObamaCare web site, as the phone number for Obamacare:

 

 

 

 

 

As we still have standards here, I’m only going to say that the letters spell out a very rude phrase. If you wish to avoid vulgarity, don’t try to spell it out.

Many of us have picked out our own cellphone numbers so that they spell out a name or phrase. But the whole federal government picks out an 800 number that reveals exactly what they think of us.
