The number of voters who have returned their ballots for the May 8, 2012 election only increased by 85 since yesterday. Pitt County continues to lead all other counties with 124 ballots returned. Wake County is now number 4 in ballots returned and processed – at 42. Mecklenburg reported 68 and Guilford 55. Click here to see what your county board of elections office is reporting.
Of the 119 unaffiliated voters whose ballots have been returned thus far, 63 requested Republican ballots, 29 requested non-partisan ballots and 27 unaffiliated voters requested Democratic ballots.
