Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle lost a valued member last Friday when John Tedesco stepped down from his position as Chief Development officer to devote time to his responsibilities with the Wake County School Board.
Speculation has swirled for the past month that Tedesco was being pressured to resign by board members who thought his opposition to Wake’s diversity policy would hurt the organization’s ability to raise funds.
While we may never know the real reasons for Tedesco’s departure, we know much about John’s unquestioned commitment to helping kids and the less fortunate. Thank you for your hard work, John and good luck.
