As the State Senate continues to debate HB 589 VIVA, Voter Information Verification Act, it’s always interesting to find the little facts that make liberals arguments look so lame.
Here’s one or their complaints: Voter ID will disenfranchise college students who do not have ID cards.
Maybe people will be surprised and maybe a few embarrassed to learn a lot of schools (if not all) require a valid ID, i.e. DMV, passport, military, to acquire a school ID UNC requires an ID card for their students and staff. Here are the requirements for ECU and Duke and Elon. There is no doubt that every college in North Carolina requires a valid ID of every student on campus.
Only way they can win is for the Illegals to vote or for someone to vote two or three times.
I seem to recall a Project Veritas visit in North Carolina regarding college student questioning a UNC Professor about voting in Ohio and North Carolina!

Why don’t they just go get a proper ID. They have over a year get it. It takes more time to protest than get the ID.
Voting is not a requirement,you can absentee vote from your home address and if they’re that stupid,don’t vote and spare the rest of us.
You have to have an ID card to prove you are a state resident to take classes at the community colleges. All the liberals want is to be able to vote more than once and have illegal voters get away with their actions.
Will the good reverend go into hiding over this colossal embarrassment? People offered themselves for arrest because he told them of the horror of having a college kid get a state ID.

This first thing I had to do at my NCSU orientation was to get my picture taken and ID issued. Wasn’t that hard.
Stu – agreed…well except that your student ID is NOT a valid form of ID according to the election bill…and Well Shucks you are kidding yourself – these laws are absolutely trying to reduce the number of college students who vote since 2/3’s of them vote democratic.
