Next Tuesday voters in Portland, Maine and San Francisco, California and Portland, Oregon will decide on whether to grant noncitizens the right to vote in local elections (see article here). Yes, you heard it right; voters are contemplating giving the right to vote to those who do not have citizenship.
And once, that’s achieved – as it has been in several municipalities across the country — does anyone doubt what the next item is on the agenda of radical immigration groups?

Non Citizens already are funding elections in the post CitizensUnited case, why not let them vote.
Jennifer Hudson says
Why would anybody in their right mind advocate voting rights for non-citizens? Non-citizens have little, if any, vested interest in what is best for our country. If a non-citizen wants to vote, perhaps he should return to the country where he is a citizen, and vote there.
Harrison Bergeron says
Seems our recent experience with Democracy has shown that citizens don’t have much of a vested interest (or at least much of a clue) as to what is best for their country either.
