Arizona Senator John McCain and South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham made campaign stops in North Carolina Tuesday for Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. They were joined in Cary by North Carolina Congresswoman Renee Ellmers and Republican Insurance Commissioner candidate Mike Causey. They spoke at a VFW post and used the venue to talk about what they called President Obama’s failed foreign policy. Senator McCain said North Carolina was a perfect example of why the country needs Romney as Commander in Chief…
Senator McCain said others in North Carolina would also suffer from the spending cuts and other measures coming under sequestration…
Senator Graham said the Democrats can’t blame anyone else for the failure of the Obama administration…
Graham also put in a plug for Republican gubernatorial candidate Pat McCrory. He said McCrory was a good mayor for Charlotte and made Rock Hill, just across the border, look good. The two were scheduled to make other appearances in Fayetteville and in Wilmington Tuesday afternoon.
