PPP was in the field last night with a poll on the Wake School Board Race. Simple poll with a head to head and a question about supporting the systems “diversity” policy and some demographic questions. Civitas polled in Wake countythis summer and determined that there is a lot of dissatisfaction with the current system. The results of this election will be most influenced by turnout. The lighter the turnout the better for supporters of the status quo. The heavier the turnout the better for the candidates of change.
Bob had a good post yesterday on what has emerged as the main issue for those battling to keep things just as they are.
What remains to be seen is why PPP was polling. Was it just because they are curious? Is it for one of the candidates or a PAC. In time we will know if there is a report on a candidate report or if PPP releases the poll. If neither of those happen you will have to wonder if it was just an “in kind” donation that did not get reported…
