The Wall Street Journal says, “Less than two weeks before the launch of insurance marketplaces created by the federal health overhaul, the government’s software can’t reliably determine how much people need to pay for coverage …. ” (Story behind paywall.)
We in North Carolina could have told them so. It took us a decade to revamp our Medicaid billing system, and it apparently isn’t going so well.
And, no, you can’t keep your insurance. Duke Energy retirees are just the latest to find out.
Companies are dropping insurance for employees. More will, and the system won’t be ready to help people.
ObamaCare is going to be a nightmare.
