Last year the left and various education groups repeatedly criticized Civitas for our stance on education budget reductions. While we acknowledged that budgets were being reduced; the total reductions were less than 2009-10. Furthermore, the increased flexibility the legislature gave LEAs helped to make required personnel reductions more manageable. Now it seems we aren’t the only ones who have come to this conclusion.
