Gov. Perdue was the focus of an eleven minute segment on MSNBC’s liberal Rachel Maddow Show last night. According to guest host Melissa Harris-Perry, Gov. Perdue “and her giant veto stamp became North Carolina’s thin blue line” against pro-life legislation, Voter ID, and the Republican-supported budget. She even says that Perdue is “Nice change from the faux-concilliatory do-nothingness in Washington” supposedly exemplified by President Obama. Purdue may be trying to protect liberal policies, but is she really reflecting the will of North Carolina voters? The entire video is worth watching.
