With May fast approaching expect to hear more news about the marriage amendment. Here are a few snippets…
Earlier today Civitas issued a press release which announced support for marriage amendment is holding steady. The monthly poll found, found 61 percent of respondents supported the amendment. This compares with 62 percent in September and January and 64 percent in February.
Yesterday, David Bass, Associate Editor at the Carolina Journal blogged about how Public Policy Polling which had reported a steady decline in support for the amendment — 59%, 58%, and 56% — announced in March an uptick of 2 percentage points in those who support the amendment. Yes, the results are within the poll’s margin of error (2.8 percent). Still the findings nonetheless are interesting.
