Something that NC Lottery Director Tom Shaheen apparently thinks is "not a big problem" gets a full expose on Dateline NBC.
Chris Hansen, best known for his work at exposing pedophiles, dedicated tonight's episode to exposing lottery fraud and how some lottery retailers are taking advantage of players and the system to make big bucks.

But with the appearance of lottery fraud documented in this much detail in California, why does North Carolina's lottery director seem like it's not a big deal? Given the NC Lottery's controversial beginnings, is the lottery director just trying to put on a good face for public relations sake?
sign all lottery tickets and then ask for them back,if they are losers, keep in mind under IRS law, you can deduct your losers ,if you win big,
I mailed two winning tickits directly to Ilonois Lottery and never recieved my money. I had contacted the lottery by email and was told how and where to mail them. When I check to find out where the money was they denied that they had recieved them and Ihave miss place the copies that I had made.As far as I know that end all investagastion even though it would e easy to find tickits purchased in one city and cashed the state capital.
I have always been haunted by the feeling that a clerk at a 7- elevyn on solano ave in Albany, Ca. may have kept a winning ticket I asked him to check for me back in 2008. When ever I would go in to buy something the clerk and I would chat cordially for a moment as I would pay for my purchase. On this occasion however, he seemed a little nervous when he checked my ticket for me, and then proclaimed that I had won two dollars. I excepted the payment without thinking too much about it at the time. But, then later in the day I forget exactly why, maybe because of the guys behavior, but, I began to think about the incident. Everytime I would see him after that he seemed nervous, and wouldn’t make eye contact. I am wondering if there may be a way to go back and check any big winners at that store around that time?
