North Carolina voters show a clear preference for small businesses to lead the way to economic growth according to our latest poll.
We asked:
1. Small businesses and Entrepreneurs
2. Large, multinational corporations
3. The Government
4. Non-profit organizations
60 percent of voters said small business and entrepreneurs. Only 9 percent said government.
So why then do we continue to rely on the Keynesian economic philosophy of "stimulus" comes from more government spending? And why is North Carolina's economic development philosophy geared towards giving cash incentives to large corporations while maintaining a punitive high tax on small businesses and individuals?
And despite the state's budget deficit, 85 percent of voters think giving small businesses at 10 percent tax cut is a good idea.
