Growth didn’t drain Falls Lake.
Ouch. There goes one more argument against all those slow-growthers.
But when faced with having one of their campaign planks ripped to shreds, the slow-growthers now change the subject… "we have to recognize both growth needs and the potential impact of
climate change (and) increased evaporation," said Karen Rindge,
chairwoman of WakeUP Wake County, a group advocating slower growth."
Oh sure, now it’s "climate change" why we should conserve. Whatever. Just make up some good excuse to try to scare the people to think we’re going to run out of water when Falls Lake is over 100% capacity.
