One-stop voting is in full swing and more than 80,000 people voted at one-stop sites throughout NC in the last 2 days .
Yesterday was the 13th day of voting early at one-stop sites this year and so far 24,335 more people have voted than had voted in the same time period in 2008 at one-stop sites. 247,339 people had voted at close of one-stop yesterday and at the same time in 2008 – 223,004 people had voted. Yesterday was the first day that one-stop voting in 2012 did not exceed the same day in 2008.
A few days ago, I posted a chart comparing the 2012 primary turnout to the 2008 primary turnout. Here is a graph that compares one-stop voting in 2008 and 2012. And, don’t forget to visit ncvotetracker.com to get the details.
I will be putting the numbers in a chart in a later blog along with a comparison to the 2010 primary.
