It’s widely expected that Gov. McCrory will sign the $22.3 billion budget bill recently approved by the House and the Senate. When that happens, the bill will also give teachers raises that average 4.7 percent. The additional monies would raise average teacher salary for North Carolina teachers above $50,000.
Since 2011, — when Republicans gained majorities in both the House and the Senate — legislators have approved salary increases in four of the last six years.
Anyone ever come across that fact in a newspaper?
And…. is this suppose to be journalism? Do a little digging.
It hasn’t been in a newspaper, that’s why George is clueless.
