This week Ray and I discuss ways we have grown in thankfulness during this difficult time, as well as the impact social isolation stands to have on mental health. We also examine NC Policy Watch’s Rob Schofield’s suggestion that Gov. Roy Cooper (D) unlawfully appoint someone to take over for State Treasurer Dale Folwell (R) while he was recovering from COVID-19. Then we turn to the NIMBY’ism (Not In My Backyard) playing out in the Outer Banks, as elected officials lockdown towns and counties, barring owners from accessing their property. We also have an update for you on the pistol permit moratorium ordered by Wake County Sheriff Gerald Baker.
