Based on the course this virus has run in other countries, it appears that the United States is still in the earlier stages of the spread of Coronavirus. In an effort to mitigate the rapid transmission of it (since it seems to be considerably more contagious than the flu, but less than the measles), many Americans have voluntarily begun to social distance from others. Avoiding mass gatherings and physical contact with the elderly and those that have compromised immune systems is one way we can love our neighbors during this time. We will discuss some of the temporary changes we and others are making in an effort to protect the vulnerable.
Ray and I also look at the potential economic impact that business closures have on our state and nation. Undoubtedly there will be discussions of bailouts and stock market dives. Let’s navigate this time with clear vision and level heads.
