RALEIGH, N.C. – Civitas Institute has extended an invitation to leaders of both the North Carolina Republican and Democratic parties to speak at our August 23rd Poll Lunch in Raleigh, as guest commentators.
The August poll is unique to other Civitas statewide polls in that it will exclusively focus on the opinions and leanings of unaffiliated voters, North Carolina’s fastest growing voting bloc. Within that context, Civitas has invited a representative from each party to share their analysis of the survey findings.
Questions in the poll will cover issues related to:
- Job approval ratings for elected officials, including President Donald Trump and Governor Roy Cooper
- Support and opposition for proposed constitutional amendments
- Approval ratings of the federal tax reform law
- And much more
The Poll Lunch will be on August 23, 2018, from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM. The location is the DoubleTree by Hilton at 1707 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.
