You know it strikes me as odd that Bill Clinton is still brought up. He was investigated for over 4 years by Ken Starr and after almost $100 Million spent, there was no illegal conduct found other than lying about Monica Lewinsky (which was a consensual act). In fact, one of the women Trump rolled out last October during a debate was almost indicted by Starr for perjury herself. She contradicted herself so often that Starr almost indicted her.
And….what was the Starr investigation begun as? Whitewater Land Deals. Starr never found anything on Whitewater but he did find the perjury regarding Clinton’s affair with Lewinsky.
Now, the folks trying to repudiate Robert Mueller are aghast that he will indict people for any and all crimes he finds.
You just can’t make up the hypocrisy of the Republicans. Their ignorance of history and fact is relentless and astounding.
