More than Seven Out of Ten Voters Were Satisfied by His Efforts During the Storm and Flooding
RALEIGH – The latest Civitas poll shows North Carolina voters overwhelmingly approve of Gov. Pat McCrory’s leadership during Hurricane Matthew and its aftermath. “Our newest poll shows more than seven out of ten of North Carolina voters were pleased with how Governor McCrory led state efforts to cope with Hurricane Matthew and the resulting floods,” Civitas President Francis De Luca said. “Rare is there something Democrats and Republicans and unaffiliated voters agree on like they do this.”

The poll surveyed 600 registered, likely voters (30% on cell phones) with a margin of error of +/- 4.00%. This survey was taken October 14-17, 2016. Due to rounding, totals may not equal 100 percent.
