Conservative Leadership Conference Set for March 27-28 in Cary
RALEIGH – The Civitas Institute is proud to announce that former Sen. Rick Santorum will be speaking March 27 at the Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) at the Embassy Suites in Cary.
“Sen. Santorum has been a bold and dynamic voice for traditional values and conservative principles,” Civitas Communications Director Jim Tynen said. “CLC attendees can be assured he’ll present a inspiring and moving vision for advancing the conservative cause.”
At CLC 2015, he will highlight the opening session of the two-day gathering. He will among a slate of dynamic speakers that includes Dr. Ben Carson, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, Lt. Gov. Dan Forest, state Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger, Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint, nationally known writer John Fund and many other conservative leaders and experts.
Sen. Santorum served as a United States Senator representing Pennsylvania (1995–2007) and was the Senate’s third-ranking Republican (2001–07). He ran as a candidate for the 2012 Republican Party presidential nomination, finishing second to the eventual Republican nominee Mitt Romney. He is currently co-founder and co-chair of Patriot Voices, a grassroots and online community of Americans from across the country who stand together to bring change.
