RALEIGH – Starting Tuesday, June 9, the Civitas Institute is delving into the next generation of talk radio. The Freedom Action Network will begin its broadcast day at 3 p.m. with a live two-hour talk show hosted by political insider and experienced, top-rated radio host Chad Adams. The show, “What Matters with Chad Adams,” will air new shows live here from 3-5 p.m. Monday-Friday each week. Archived shows will be available for download as podcasts. The latest show will stream continuously until the new show airs.
Adams previously hosted “Mornings with Chad Adams” in the Wilmington media market, where he established a large following and regularly broke news stories through interviews with relevant individuals of all political leanings.
This new show will focus on the wide array of issues confronting North Carolinians every day.
“We will discuss the impact of all areas state and local government have on every citizen,” Adams said. “This is an opportunity for the people of North Carolina to speak directly to decision makers about how their tax dollars are spent. Far too often, what happens in Raleigh never makes it back home. It will now.”
Freedom Action Network’s “What Matters with Chad Adams” launches Tuesday, June 9, and will feature unscripted interviews with decision makers, news, listener calls and the opportunity for plenty of discussion via all forms of media. Established in 2005, the Civitas Institute is a Raleigh-based nonprofit corporation organized for the purpose of conducting research, sponsoring educational activities, and disseminating information to promote the general public’s understanding of the benefits of limited government and free market economies.
