RALEIGH –The Civitas Institute’s Conservative Leadership Conference (CLC) will provide an in-depth look at the issues, policies and leaders on the political landscape in North Carolina and across the nation.
CLC takes place March 27-28 at the Embassy Suites in Cary. CLC is the most significant annual conservative conference in North Carolina. The two-day event brings together hundreds of concerned citizens to hear top political leaders, commentators and experts provide insights on the current political scene, plus training to educate and empower citizens in how to promote limited government, free enterprise and individual responsibility.
The keynote speaker on Friday evening will be Dr. Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon who is a major contender in the Republican field. Among the speakers will be Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO who is also drawing serious consideration on the political scene; former Sen. Rick Santorum, one of Mitt Romney’s main challengers in 2012; Lt. Gov. Dan Forest, who has thrilled audiences in previous CLC appearances; and former U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, now president of the Heritage Foundation.
Other dynamic speakers and breakout sessions led by nationally recognized experts will educate attendees about key issues in politics, social issues, elections reform, education and economics. For the details, go to civitasclc.com.
