Civitas Releases October Poll Results Online

RALEIGH – The Civitas Institute has released its October Poll Presentation. Its graphics illuminate NC voters’ views of crucial current leaders and issues, including:

• President Obama
• Gov. Pat McCrory
• Sen. Kay Hagan and possible Republican U.S. Senate candidates
• The state legislature
• The direction of the U.S. and North Carolina
• The Affordable Care Act
• State taxes
• The government shutdown

The poll can be viewed here. The survey of 600 registered North Carolina voters was done Oct. 20-24. The margin of error was plus-minus 4 percent.
