The Majority Leader and Minority Leader of the state House of Representatives are planning to co-sponsor a bill to revoke the 2005 Jim Black budget provision that required insurance companies to treat chiropractors the same as other physicians when determining co-pay amounts. The leaders claim the law must be changed because $29,000 changed hands in a bathroom from three chiropractors to former House Speaker Jim Black. They believe the law is tainted.
